Neni Nur Hayati is the Director of Democracy and Electoral Partnership (DEEP) Indonesia and an alumni of the Master of Communication Science at Padjadjaran University. Currently, she is doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Communication Science, Universitas Padjadjaran and also active as Deputy Secretary 1 of the Institute for Wisdom and Public Policy of the Central Leadership of Muhammadiyah for the 2022–2027 period. She is very concerned with issues of elections, political communication, democracy, and women. Her articles have been published in many national media, such as Koran Tempo, Kompas, Media Indonesia, Republika, Pikiran Rakyat, Rumah Pemilu, Detik, CNN Indonesia, Kumbol, Koran Sindo, and other media. This 31-year-old woman has just published a book entitled The Winding Road of Indonesian Democracy. Experience in the electoral field as a Consultant for Socializing the Corruption Eradication Commission of the Republic of Indonesia 2023 Campaign, Second Place in writing at the national level entitled “Breaking the Links of Corruption in Pilkada”, Winner of the 2019 Election Governance Call For Paper by the General Election Commission of the Republic of Indonesia, Inspiring Women Activist by The Indonesian Youth National Committee, the Central Information Commission’s Public Information Openness Index Team, the Monitoring and Evaluation Assessment Team for Public Bodies throughout West Java Province, the Jury Council for Law Enforcement Debates for Higher Education Elections throughout Indonesia.

Other experiences include being a team of experts on the political party institutional index at the National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia.
In addition, she is also active in writing journals both national and international and has been published in reputable journals.
